Lately, some of my corals started to bleach and dont look so good wile in the same time some of my other sps corals are getting back there coolers ....strange:confused:
Plus I have an outbreak of red green cyano bakteria that covering my rooks and killing some of my zoa garden
I dont know exactly what is the causes
I checked the netrat phosphate and all values are not detectable

i decided to do a 10 precent water change sooner that i had to
and change the osmosis membranes after 2 years that i did not change them it seems
and clean my send that i cleand 3 months ago

and i was amazed to see how much dirt gets out of this sand every time i clean it ,and i have to say i got no idea how the hack it gets there
i dont understand how reefers keep dsb in there tanks  i just keep 1 cm of sand in my tank and i keep it just where you can see it and not all around the tank (in the front mostly )

here are some pics

Ariel, Cyano Bacteria can be caused by poor flow,Lights needing changed and is sometimes hard to rid the tank of. They have a product, Chemiclean that worked when i had this issue, But try increase the flow where the cyano is and see if that helps. Plus don't spread it it is best to syphon it out with small airline hose and throw that water away. Hope this helps.
Also here is photo of my new toy.

you bought there a Monster ,its one of the best skimmers around !
i think its time for me also to change my skimmer but the prices here are $$$$$$$$$$$$ to expensive
ironically the cyano r located in the area where there is real strong flow
plus i love strong flow and i got
5000 l/h pump
15000 l/h wave maker +controller
12000 l/h mp4 vortch
12000 l/h sun sun
so i got some flow in my tank
about the bulb i gonna change it soon i think

about the chimical you mensioned did you use it and your live stock corals and fish stayed ok after i mean side affects ?

Yes It's Reef Safe for all your critters, And thanks about the Skimmer i can't wait until it breaks in better this is from only 2 days after vinegar bath. I have new Camera now and yesterday my friend fix the master PC in the house (We need new one) But bought new monitor so far. I will send you some Photos of my tank.

In the meantime, I hesitate to use it
I read reviews that it eliminated entire live stock in some tanks
The idea behind it is actually an antibiotic that affects the all population of the bacteria in the tank and does not distinguish between good bacteria and bad bacteria
So actually after treatment u start a new cycle in your tank

glad to here that you pc is back and runnig ,cant wait to see your pics

Thank You Sir! You have an Amazing tank yourself you seem to be very modest about.
Still waiting to see your dosing system? Any progress?

Wow !!

Wow !!

You did a great job on your tank !! Amazing that you have to pay more for species of animals that basically live in your backyard, although I'm not suprized. I wish you continued success.

Some updates
i guess i found the source of the problem
the co2 tank is empty it should have taken a few monthes and some how it got emptied in one month it means all the co2 got in to the system i guess some how it had done somthing to the water parameters that the corals could not stand it :sad2: ph or somthing
i closed the calcium reactor a few days ago and now the corals start to look better
i hope that is the cause because i dont have any idea what happend
all the parameters looked ok alk 12 mag 1200 just the cal was a bit low 300 i got no idea why so low after that almost all the media in the calcium reactor emptied after it all Dissolved
here are some pics of the Casualties
some of the corals where with me for a very long time and started from just a few inches :sad2:

Your KH most likely was higher than the 12 KH you got on your test, After the Co2 ran out it started to come down due to demand. It is the reason your corals died from Alk burn from it being to high (I'll Bet) But now at least you can fix this issue and get back to the beautiful tank you got. Now you have room for some new Frags.
If you can catch a flight to US our frag swap is Saturday, You can stay at my house while you visit and help me do water change LOL
Glad you are doing better now
Bill
