Your KH most likely was higher than the 12 KH you got on your test, After the Co2 ran out it started to come down due to demand. It is the reason your corals died from Alk burn from it being to high (I'll Bet) But now at least you can fix this issue and get back to the beautiful tank you got. Now you have room for some new Frags.
If you can catch a flight to US our frag swap is Saturday, You can stay at my house while you visit and help me do water change LOL

about the frag swap are People selling frags there and if so whats the prices range ?
and if you can get some pics it will be great i wonder how it looks like
here in israel unfortunately we dont have such a "swap day "
but the prices of corals now started to be very low around 25-40$ for very big and nice corals

Those Scoly's sell for fron 150.00-500.00 here depends on color and those SPS around 200.00 for that size colony. I'll take my Camera to the Swap and post some pictures next week.

some updates
I decided to replace the media of denitrator to Bio Bulls
The Sulfor all the time stops working
it is just filled with bacteria and water stops flowing through it

here is the olld media

gonna feed the reactor with vodka 5-10 ml per day

how it used to be

Hopefully it will be as good as the Sulfor was dealing with the nitrat and dont need so much handeling as the sulfor media

i thought to replace the sulfor to Bio pellets but I have some extra dosing pumps so for me it is easiest to work with vodka

yes, with any method used to lower phosphates, it must be done gradually, if you start with half the estimated quantity of bio pellets and add the rest two weeks or so later it gives a little time for corals to acclimate

a small update
I decided to get a new skimmer After the crash I had a few weeks ago
And not take unnecessary risks, plus I felt it was time to upgrade the skimmer
here's a few pics of the olld skimmer it was a ddnw 150 reef octopuse

I have been super busy and will get back with you after the Club elections as I am running for President of our Club. Plus switching over to LED's on my tank. I'll link you some Photos Soon.

cool leds light but hear in israel i thing maybe ther's maybe only max 10 people with led light , i wonder if it realy as good as metal or t5 and so

It's close to 2:00AM here and i just finished adding more Marco Rock to make some more Real Estate as I have no room for new corals I added another 6 or so large pieces of rock to set more frags on my Frag rack is full. I made more frags moving rocks around as it is hard to do this without breaking some.
I'm Tired and have to get back up at 7:00AM so Next time I'll send photo's
