750g show tank (L shape)

if you click on Tipou's name, then click on visit homepage, it will take you to their website. (i think the pumps are real new so they might not be on their site yet, but its worth a try.
hope that helps

One thing I consistently like about this thread (in addition to Tipou :wavehand: ) is the different types of equipment that I just don't see anywhere else. This is a fascinating project - everything is "top drawer" !

Keep the photos coming!

Thanks for the help. Found it and the pumps are there. I am impressed with the low wattage and high gph flow rate.

"i love the smell of silicone in the morning"
this is the best part....i love doing new tank setups....the only thing better is the first picture of a bare tank with nothing but sand and water!

Amazing build, I'm subscribing to this one!
I was wondering what you guys have planed for rock work. Everything else is beyond amazing so I'm sure it is great.

There is some really good ideas about coating PVC so it resembles live rock somewhere in this thread (before the split):

If you are interested in it I can find the exact page. I really thought it was a good way to build caves, so I was wondering what you had planed.

It sounds like a great idea and I'm going to try it on my next tank to build large caves for my angel fish and tangs.

Quoted from the thread:
The owner explained to me how he made them.
1) The pvc racks were constructed.
2) Styrofoam in a can was sprayed onto the racks. I didn't ask what "styrofoam in a can" was but I think it was that stuff you use for sealing windows and doors.
3) Fiberglass was placed on top of the foam. I asked what the purpose of this was and he said it helps the stuff in step 4 stick.
4)Rubble from sand was literally thrown at the foam to cover it.

The finished result is a pvc rack that looks exactly like live rock.

Here is where they start talking about it
http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5977082#post5977082

And here is where the owner describes it:

I guess they float because of the styrofoam, for a glass tank you could silicone them down. Also use pvc flanges to distribute the weight on the bottom of the tank.

I would recommend that thread for anyone, it has lots of great information.

Sorry to hijack. If anyone has more questions, I will open a new thread.
