The display tank is a 90 (48W-18D-25T), with 20 gallon sump and 20 gallon frag tank plumbed in, total volume apx 120 gallons after removing for rock and sand. Is this too much or an acceptable amount of fish with the proper amount of room for the angels? Could always go for a single Genicanthus if a pair is not possible.

I think its a good list. I think you should be fine. And are you running a skimmer?

I have a single genicanthus (swallowtail angel) and he does great in my 75g.

I think that is a fine stocking plan!

LPS and Softies for the most part, Yes running a Octo NW-150 rated for 150-180 gallon system

I'll cast a dissenting vote here and say your tank is going to be quite cramped with a pair of angels and the yellow tang. The angels will hit over 7 inches each and like most, are quite active. It's your tank, but IMO, a 90 is just not a large system suited to active, larger fish.

All the research I did said those angels were only in the 5-6 inch range when full grown, some like the Lamarck do get bigger, I am thinking a single might be the way to go both stocking wise and budget wise, My wife and I both really like the Watanabie but they can be expensive.
