Any updates? This is turning out to be one of my favorite build threads!
Updated plumbing and silicon cutting pics are coming in the next few hours, we are taking some photos now.
WE ARE DOING A FRESHWATER TEST TOMORROW!!!
Can you tell I am excited?
Looks like the aquascaping and livestock transfer are going to start on June 11th and last a few days.
no sleep till June 11th :rollface::rollface:"Tater11" Woo hoo no sleep for me tonight thanks.lol can't wait...
very nice, whats the GPH rating on the pumps?? i love ocean motion very simple and effective. kinda weird to plumb though IMO. do you just use regular PVC glue to go from the PVC to the flexible stuff?? looking great, very jealous![]()
this is one awesome build! the one thing i do not understand, and forgive me i am new to drilled tanks, what happens if the power goes out wont all the water just drain out of the tank?
Okay more updates. We put a limestone tile along the back and far side of the tank. The limestone tile does a few things, it does help with PH a bit, it frees me from having to clean the back of the glass and it also acts as a nice place for corals to grow on. This is pretty much a signature item for any tank that RAD builds and I think its great.
no kyle it wont because the water has no where to go. it is plumbed from the tank to the pump and back to tank so it has no where to go.
hey can you explain why the limestone was used on the back wall? confused slightly on that.........but it looks awesome!
