Beautiful work. If I get to build a larger tank in the future, I'm definitely incorporating some of your plans.
It looks like you have have two outputs connected together on each 4 way. Doesn't this basically turn each 4 way into a 2 way?
Maybe you explained that earlier...but so many build threads I can't remember the details of each.
Ooo....no union ball valve on the intakes to the OM4ways. That is a problem when you want to remove the 4 way to service it.
This is a serious build, Benny !
Really keen to see it develop to full blown operational status.
One question - the limestone tile you've used for the rear wall cladding, is that what is commercially called "travetine" tile?
a Moorish Idol may be great in a few years once the system has matured.
are you doing a local biotope or will you have animals and corals from around the world?
I will be doing corals and animals from around the world, mostly focusing on Pacific critters. I will probably focus on keeping SPS and Clams, with a spot for Ricordia and a Mantis shrimp in the Refugium.
wow i like the idea of a mantis shrimp in the fuge. i may just steal it lol. my LFS has been sell them lately so i have a few to choose from.
for give me if i missed it i did read the whole build but then yesterday i read 32 pages of a 19,000gal build and im mixing the 2 up. one question what kind of lighting are you going to be using.
your tanks looking great and i cant wait to see water in it
