A bit of a noob...need help in determing if seals on my tank are good

So as the title says I just need some help from someone who is good at tank assembly or looking at the seal of a tank.

I bought a 150gallon eurobraced lee mar tank. Not sure if the seals are fine. Was about to set it up but a little worried.

Could anyone here help a fellow reefer out and take a quick look at my tank?

I'm in Goodyear and could pay you for gas money to come over.

I suggest you place the tank outside on your patio & fill it with water & let it sit over night & see if it leaks.

Ok I'll do the leak test. I guess I was jumping the gun and don't want a pane of glass just flying off..lol...thanks!

Post a photo of the tank. 4 years ago my Lee mar 90 tank back right seal went and lost all my fish. It was used lee mar tank

ok so finally got around to checking the tank. still haven't done the leak test yet. but i saw a spot that made me a bit nervous and wanted to see what you guys thought of it.
This is the back top left corner. The seal between the top eurobrace and back panel seems to be separating a bit.

just silicon. leak test and get on with it. my previous 140g tank was never even leak tested. it lasted 10 years.

IMO, leaks should be least of your concerns. Panel blow out is what worries me, which likely to occur on rimless and eurobraced type tanks. Rimmed tanks are less likely to have any blowouts.

From your pics, there seem to be quite a bit of separation/air pocket in the silicone. Depending on the age, it should be okay if its been there from the start (but if you got this tank used???) I would carefully inspect and test outside. Last thing you want is someone, other than your livestock, getting hurt from a blowout.

The chances of the tank blowing out is very low, but I wouldn't risk it after looking at those pics... peace of mind is priceless and can be painful.
