I know for a fact the female is indeed a chrysopterus but the smaller juvi I'm still unsure of. They get along well..which is good but I'm still questioning the ID of the juvenile.

when I first got him

A picture I took of him today. notice his tail looks a little more black.

with the female.

Look at her teeth..good thing these aren't known to bite the hand that feeds them.


As long as they are getting along I guess it wouldn't really matter if the male isn't a chrysopterus. I still am curious... oh well enjoy the bad pics lol.
