判斷咖啡泥是藻還是菌，可以咖啡泥在夜間表現來看，如果夜間和白天差不多，那是菌的可能較大。反之，則是藻的機率大。藻較難處理，菌比較簡單。
如果是藻...(首先，吸一口氣，別慌，Be Strong)，然後...
基本上，以下三件事可以打敗它
1. 壋加Kalk來提昇PH
2. 無光
3. 添加過氧化氫
