A couple anemone questions

Now that my female Oc clown has paired with my green BTA, I have a couple ?s...She pretty much paired up with it about a month ago.

1. She stays in the BTA all day, but it still shrinks up at night when the lights go off (so much that she can't get in it at all). Is that normal?

2. Do I still need to continue feeding the BTA now that she is paired with it? If I do, how often?

Closing up at night is fine. The clownfish will get over it. And the care for the anemone should be the same as before.

Yep, normal, the only thing you need to do different now is add pics to your posts!LOL
I let mine pick up mysis during fish feeding and spot feed once a month.
I do raw scallops, raw shrimp and clams are another option.

LOL davocean! I would add some pics but they are on my big laptop. I'm at school right now on my netbook. I suppose I can link to some videos!

I have been feeding the BTA a piece or 2 once a week from the Rod's Predator I feed my eel sometimes. Is that ok? It seems happy with it.

thank you!!! Its not the prettiest BTA for sure. Got it in Jan, it was bright green the first couple weeks I had it, then after it found its "spot" it has just stayed poopy brown. I'm just happy my clowns are bonding with it!

Loved the video... thank you. And the "poopy brown" comment made me laugh. Maybe your lighting is the culprit for the current color. What lights are you using?

Thanks, and yes, those are my babies, though they no longer reside in that RBTA.
I have a nice purple Malu for them instead.
