hey everyone thanks for the comments.

capt- yep the speed squares are great!

pimpin- your right I prefer new castle! I just grabbed it for scale:beer:

and no euro bracing it will only be filled a foot high there shouldn't be any issues with it holding IMHO

thanks mike! yea I cant wait Ill def need some help with the switch and what not so maybe we can get a few knowledgeable hands together and get that bad boy in!

it is going to be Tee'd off and feed the long skinny compartment and the tiny taller heater compartment in the corner. then feed into the main largest compartment, then under a baffle and thru the holes in the last baffle to the return(hopefully)well anyway that is my goal. sorry no diagrams. Im going to test it out in a day or 2

thanks! it really came out nice looking. i tried to really take my time with glueing and curing. im going to wait 2 days to cure fully until i water test it. its not going in for a month maybe anyway so it will be nice and strong. i just hope it functions properly/ as planned. keeping my fingers crossed!

a few updates. I have picked up some bikini pink sand, a new skimmer, SRO xp 3000 sss, another heater, and got some outlets put in, 16 to be exact. as well as curing some LR.

bimini pink* damn apple spell check. anyway I decided on that sand because it has a grain size that differs from 2.2 to .02. I went with Super reef octo because I have some experience with it. Its a beast in person! Made very well and fully cleanable.

The sweetest part is I have 16 outlets and 3 15 amp circuit breakers devoted to just my tank. No more tripped wires when vacuuming. Im super pumped my tank should ship out within a week. Next is the canopy build stay tuned...

Everything is looking good so far. I would put the sand in the bottom of the curing bucket to help seed and cure the rock also maybe looking into GARF Grunge great stuff would never start a tank without it again. LMK when the tank comes in if ya need help moving it.

sweet i def will cuz they are only going as far as the curb!darn Garf grunge? hmm i will search that now. all of the rock is from existing set ups so i think its pretty well established but i was thinking about doing that. maybe i will get another tub and start the sand

a few updates , a new vortech mp40 and a batter back up both used. planning on having 4 mp40s total . planning on adding the 4th down the road.
