A few of my SPS

Why are you canadians so good with SPS corals? ;)

Amazing health and colour in these corals.

I suppose you must be using either Radium or Phoenix MH's?

Keep the super eye candy coming. Makes for a nice treat in the evenings to sit back and scroll through threads like these. Keeps the rest of us on our toes as we sit there dreaming about having such colour in our SPS.

PS Its nice to see another 10 year+ member still active on the forum. :D

Thanks for the kind words. My lighting is mainly a mix of Pheonix 250's MH HQI across the front & T5's across the back. I like the look it gives and with the MH in the front there is still a noticable shimmer in the water. I am still going strong in the hobby and actually just did a complete make over of my reef. Completely drained the display, fixed a plumbing headache, and restarted with mostly new rock, sand, etc.

Tank specs please! Corals are super nice..

Thanks.
This display was orginally set up in late 2008 and just revamped over Nov/Dec 2013 so things are still settling in.
Display Tank is 96" wide x 36" deep x 27" high = 404 gal
There is also 130 gal tank in the fish room plumbed to a common 120 gal sump making about 600 gallon in the system. Frag/prop tanks are on a seperate system for QT purposes, etc.

Gorgeous. Yes, can we see a fts. Thanks.
Thanks as well. Yes I'll get a new FTS ASAP.
In the meantime here is poor quality one I took a few weeks back.

Well....your poor quality fts also made my eyesight poor:dance:
That is an amazing tank!!
Really like the photo with the tangs also.
Your coral collection makes me sooooo jeallus but so happy for you!
Thanks for sharing:thumbsup:

Beautiful and richly colored corals mate, that long ledge will look awesome once the acros grow outwards and towards the front from it. Great use of color contrasts when you were placing corals

Thanks for your comments. I find it hard to get good fish shots because of both my camera limitations and particlarily my lack of photo skills. corals are easy to photograph because they don't move much. :crazy1:

Thank you, I am looking forward to things to growing & filling in. The ledge is much more broken up in person, the picture doesn't show that very well. the shelf rock doesn't just run straight across the way it looks in the picture. I'll try and get some pictures that show better definition of the 'ledge's edges'

Once again, the old SPS master shows us how it's done.
Great job on the re-work Greg...love the layout with the shelving. Your blue granny still is one of our favorite pieces ever.

Thanks for stopping by the thread and for the kind words. I was away from the board for a few years, didn't think anyone would remember me.
Congrats on your TOTM for Jan - your reef looks fantastic!

Recently dug DEEP into my pockets & took the plunge with a few Reef Raft pieces.
Here is a picture of one of the frags - the so called "Banana Split"
