A few of my SPS

I had the good fortune to see this tank in person a few days ago.I originally went to purchase a couple of frags but totally blanked out as soon as I saw it. Greg asked what frags I had in mind but all I could do was stand there drooling with my jaw on the floor.
I left with a hyacinthus and a sarmentosa :)

Did you get the memo about everyone rolling the dice on a big angel Greg....... :blown:

Andrew I already played that game and rolled "craps" I wish I could, they are such beautiful fish but not willing to chance it again.

Could we get the science or sample of the magic pixie dust you put on these corals to have them transition :) my few wild pieces are mostly brown ....
I wish I had an answer for you. I think it can be luck of the draw. I have 3 colonies of what all looked the same when smaller but that one coral decided it wanted a different look without even consulting me about it.

Holy Crap Greg!
I did not realize that you just achieved another TOTM... Congrats man, I am completely stoked for you :) Now that is breaking the "spell", lol... Your corals are, have, and likely always be setting standards for health and coloration, I am so very happy for you! Keep it going, passion driving the hobby, what an honor, well deserved!!!

Thanks very much Perry, I appreciate your support. Little known fact - I haven't shared this story before but this would quite possibly have been the 3rd but I had to decline the nomination in 2008 on my old tank because I was already committed for TOTM with Advanced Aquarist magazine and Ultimate Reef in the UK for the timeline RC wanted and one of their conditions is you can't be recently featured elsewhere before theirs is to run. Hopefully I didn't sound like a jerk telling that story as it is not meant in a "hey look at me" kind of way, it is just shared as a matter of interest. There are so many people in this hobby more deserving of recognition then me so I am always surprised when I receive it. Anyway I appreciate your kind words and thanks again for following my thread.

Thanks Darryl it was good to see you again. Thanks for letting me mooch that magnesium chloride from you and next time invite your wife in for a little looky-Lu.
:)

Are we asking for acro pics or garden pics guys.......... i don't want to see the bloody garden unless you've siliconed the back fence line and filled it with salt water Greg. :reading:

Couple garden pics'd probably be ok...
It wouldn't surprise me to see one or two Japanese maples in Greg 's garden..

About time for more pictures I think. :)
I am away on a holiday so no pictures till I get back.
But thanks for wanting to see some. We'll see what is still alive when I get home and that will make it about 4 weeks since the last water change so it could be ugly.

Andrew it's highly unlikely you will see me post pictures of things unrelated to the forums' theme so not to worry.

Sorry you will be disappointed. Between work schedules, my tanks & life I have no time for fancy plants. Although I will have to look up what a Japanese maple looks like because my spousal unit really enjoys working in the gardens so she might want to get one.

Ok Greg, we forgive your gardening transgressions...
Now give us the friggin' picks!! :)
No pressure....
Although, for an (almost) 3 time totm earner, you do have an obligation...
Just saying..
Pretty crazy that tank feature business.. You are indeed a master coral dude!!

I am in Mexico so I can't take any new pix until I get back. Thanks for the kind remarks. I will take some new shots ASAP when I get home. Thanks.
