He would probably be fine. In a pinch I have kind of ground up some of the larger ones.

This gives me an idea. I've got an old pepper grinder that I can clean out and use for the 1mm pellets
Also as stated previously even if you switch to the .5mm he may not like it. I'd get the smallest container and maybe a small container of flakes and package of frozen mysis which I think you said you had. If you are stocking a 75g you will eventually find fish that will eat that stuff. Also try soaking the pellets for a little bit too.

Since I am doing an uncycled QT, Im not sure that would be the best option...
What do you think?
Do you think the RW-8 is good or bad? its turned all the way down and doesn't look like too much flow.
Well you need some flow for oxygen and you need to keep an eye on any ammonia spikes They will happen. If they do you need to do a wc right away
Too true. Good advice, thanks!
I'll update this evening if he ate or not.
Thanks!
I agree once or twice a day until you get your badge.
Is an API test kit enough? Or should I get a salifert when I go get the .5 mm pellets
Btw:
I cannot thank you guys enough, gone fishin, dkhulmann, marchillo, you guys have helped me get a lot more peace of mind, and I cannot thank you enough for that. You guys really made a difference. Thank you so much! Can't be said more, IMO
105 gallon. Depends on the damsel. Clowns are homebodies and are ok in smallish tanks, one chromis or azure or yellowtail is fine in a 55. A 10 gallon qt is fine with damsels if they're the only fish in there. They're all about their 'sleeping holes', and until they establish a place to run to when it's lights-out or a predator comes by, they're real nervous. They'll fight to the death over those holes. When you get into multiples of damsels, and certain species of damsels, you need more room: the more aggressive ones are the dascyllus species, such as dominoes and stripes, and also the blue velvet (actually a black fish, go figure) is a pita---and they need to be in 100 gallons and more. Also some species are in danger from these pushy types.
Sounds as if you're doing ok.
[note: except red clowns, tomatos, etc---they get big]
I have 6 Azure Damsels in a 55g and they're all happy.. They've each got their 'area' and if anyone dares come near they're super quick to move them on! Rockwork is the key to their happiness IMO, it's surprising the tiny holes they can squeeze into and make their own!
