A little advise.

I only read the last page, but are there any meds in the tank? Does he look sick, breathing fast, spots, etc?

No meds, purely observation. I got a very small reading of ammonia this morning, none last night so I did a 50% water change like dkhulmann said.
He is breathing normally after I added the powerhead, and it is breaking the water level, no spots, can't see too much of him, just his back.

API should work fine for the ammonia. However if you use prime then the API test will not be accurate due to the interaction with the prime, Chemistry magic. Seachem makes ammonia test that can be used with the prime.

Yup! That was on the faqs for prime! Looks good! Prime will go away after 24 hours though right?

I want to say yes but, look it up one their website to be sure. I don't want to give you some bum dope.

I will.. Ill keep you guys updated on the little guy. Seems to be venturing out a tiny bit and then when I walk in he swims very fast into his 90 degree elbow.

Does selcon make the food more appetizing? I have heard garlic is not good for fish...

I use selcon for my frozen mysis in both my DT and QT tank. I can't really comment if it's more appetizing but it's supposed to be good for them so I would get it.

I have had some guys that took a few days to get to eat.

Prazi is the only medication I use proactively. I would try to get him eating first before using some prazi, I think on some of my fishes it suppressed the appetite a bit. Also, if you use some prazi make sure you got good circulation or a airstone, IMO it can lower the O2.

YES!!!!! He ate!!!!
The garlic infused hikari mysis worked!!!! I will try to wean him off garlic but hikari mysis is quite cheap at 5.50 for 25 cubes.

Thank you guys for all of your help!!!! Cannot say this enough.

I will continue to update this thread through the 4-6 weeks. Would it be too much to ask you guys to tag along ;)

Thanks again!

I appreciate your opinion!
However seeing Sk8r's remarks, I think I am going to stick with her :)
Day 3: Damsel has to be really hungry or eating PVC! Still hasn't eaten and is still hiding. Did a 50% water change this morning..

Have a look at Damsels generally.. Not sure what species you have, but In a tank your size they would be a lot more aesthetically appealing in a small group, this is how they live in the wild.

A little more info..

I have good flow in my uncycled 20L QT. I have a 240 gph koralia on the right side of the tank and then the sponge filter on the left side with a pretty powerful air pump connected to the filter. The flow is strong enough to blow around the pvc a bit and the fish don't seem to mind at all. I am going on day 10 of TTM and Saturday will be 4 weeks total in QT.

I'm following Snorvichs instructions on the sticky.

I did the first transfer at 8 pm then 72 hours later I did 7:45 pm and so on. Pretty much 15 minutes less than 72 hours.

I started them 2 weeks in QT before starting TTM because I needed a couple more pieces of equipment and I was hesitant to do it at all.

Working out well. Glad I'm almost done lugging 5 gallon buckets up and down stairs as well as 20G tanks.
