This has made things much faster, simpler and more convenient for me. Now I've always got 10 gallons of fresh ato water and 10g of freshly mixed salt water.

I have the same concept but directly plumbed to my tank at a higher volume - 50g freshwater, 100g salt with various valves to share a single pump to mix and fill. It has made me do the recommended water changes more now than the past just by a flick of a switch. Also no more bucket carrying since everything is plumbed to the sump drain.

It's good to use pumps whenever possible. Hauling buckets around gets old really quick. Power cords and power strips should be elevated with a drip loop in case of a water spill.
