No, not a computer game, but Voice Over IP (VOIP).
Decided to ditch AT&T finally. Couldn't stand the ridiculous monthly charges.. For two lines we were paying about $140 per month. And that was for the unlimited dialing too (on one of the lines... the other was minimally used).
Got the modems today. Hook up literally took THREE second.
The voice clarity? Out of this world! I never would have believed VOIP could sound this good.
Vonage package (including ALL taxes is $27.12 / line / month and that includes every imaginable feature, not to mention bell and whistle) will be saving me over $1000 a year. Happy Days!!
I was going to do Optimum Voice (sorry Keith), but at the moment their modems only support one line (I would have had to purchase and pay for a 2nd internet connection and modem), and cost a few dollars more per month too.

Lonnie why didnt you tell me you wanted Vonage. I could have referred you and got a free month! Ive had Vonage for over a year and ive had no problems with it. The time i did have problems it was cablevisions fault and after having numerous techs to the house they finally fixed it. My connection was going in and out.
I considered Vonage, but since I had cable for TV and Internet, it just seemed like Optimum was the way to go. I know I pay a few bucks more, but I don't pay the taxes or surcharges, they are already figured into my cable bill. My phone costs me 34.95 a month EVERY month. Works out cheaper than my cell phone.
