A new reef arises

BINGO!

Now I have the new ATI BubbleMaster. This Skimmer is a monster! Easy to install and the result is a perfect foam.
The skimmer produces very fine air bubbles. ATI uses a thread wheel instead of a needle wheel.

Thread wheel instead of needle wheel
A protein skimmer exploits the bipolar nature of organic compounds by providing air-water interfaces of the bubbles they produce. It is this interface where the compounds are deposited, collected and removed out of the aquarium system. One of the key performance indicators of a good skimmer is the ability to produce many fine air-bubbles. By creating finer air bubbles, the air-water surface is maximized for the amount of air injected into the skimmer.
ATI has employed a more suitable material for bubble production. After a series of extensive testing the thread wheel using Nylon of 0.5mm thickness strands is used and is capable of producing a homogenous mixture of water and exceptionally fine bubbles. The fine structure of the thread wheel impeller is in contrast to the 2-3 mm thick needles on the needle-wheel impellers.

I have been extremely convinced of the ATI lights for a long time. The guys can also build an extremely good skimmer. The price is also very interesting: 559,-â"šÂ¬
Bravo ATI, super performance, super product.

As exciting as a new pair of skis:)!

The price is wonderful for that action. I just spent 850 euros on a BK200 volkskimmer! Damm and blast! - the ATI looks even better for the money!

Instead a calcium reactor I use the "Balling-method" to hold my calcium and KH level.
I don't dose any trace elements! Trace elements as you use it in the normal way, are not necessary with the ZEOVIT method.

I was on the verge of asking you "what's the balling-method"..but decided to do a search on Google first !

I'm laughing at the possible results you got for that search. ;)

yeah..haven't found much info..mostly Dutch sites !

I was hoping to find a "Balling-method for dummies" link... :hammer:
