I've checked my Potassium with the KZ kit about 6 months ago, but that kit is virtually useless so I've since then stopped checking for Potassium. However I still dose Potassium on a daily basis.

I might get the FM Potassium test kit or Hanna colorimeter from some friend later to check

Update

It's been a very busy month, didn't really have time to take much photos, but here's the promised FTS

As you can see, my corals have grow quite a lot since the last FTS, especially my leather corals!

I'm flattered, but as requested I've posted a few FTS taken today.

I wish I've time to take more close up shots but I'm busy taking photos, video and writing review of my new LED fixtures.. hehehe...

Wow, my jaw just dropped! I can't believe how amazing your tank have shown so much growth. Don't let it growth out to much because it just look so nice right now.

When did you change out to the new maxspect? Did u change any color LEDs?

I just changed it over the weekend, I stuck with the default colors that came with Mazarra-P, and lovin' them. The dimming capabilities also prevented the need for more color LED chips because I can find tune the color temperature now anyway.

Ahaha no they were all there, doing just fine, but I guess they didn't like me working on the light, testing out different shades of colors, taking photos with flash lights, etc. so they were all hiding.

When I was done I fed them with a cube of frozen brine shrimps and they all dash out fighting for food.

And my sohal, he's gain so much weight lately, reigned as king and totally dominated the tank.

The color is so much nicer, especially with the 420nm super actinic, and the Rebel 480 cyan-blue from Philips. When I put it on 50-75% white and 75-100% blue, the color is faaantastic.:spin1:

My perfect color setting is

channel A: 50%
channel B: 100%
channel C: 100%
channel D: 60%

What is yours?

TS : does installing RED led in the maxspect g2 help in bringing up the RED in the corals ?

Yesssss i share my love for LEDs with you. they bring out some amazing coral colourations. The cameras do not capture them well enough, its so much better when seen in real. Right?
