Could you give us link to this quantum meter?
I'm looking for not expensive lux meter with waterproof probe but... it's not a simple :-)

Nice numbers there, how old are these globes? are they the new ones?
Thanks... yeah, the globes are the new ones.

A little more information plus a graphical representation of what I talked about on the previous page. Hope it helps

Very beautiful tank...

So, how many years this tank has running? Do you ever experience power failure/outage?

Thanks for info.

I have other one :-)

In your reef tank project there was information about moving sump.
I'm planing my own new SPS ZEO tank and I'm thinking about it too.

Please tell me why you have opted out of the mobile sump in your tank?
Is it useless?

This is my project:

What PAR numbers do you usually shoot for at midday?
To be honest I don't shoot far any numbers. I set the light intensity to what what I think looks good. The midday period is when the lights are at their strongest.

Thank you... The tank has been running since Aug 2011.

No power outages. The tank is connected to two power wall sockets which are dedicated to the setup only. Once a year the power is turned off in the apartment block (for maintenance) and we are all given advance notice.

Thanks for info.

Thank you... I found a movable sump wasn't required and was more a nuisance than an ease. Plumbing has to be planned carefully to allow easy connections etc. A fixed sump is the way to go if you have enough room to move the equipment in and out.
