Practice is good. I wish I went that route.
I'm hoping it's a fairly simple process. I know it'll be a good one week project but want it to be as perfect as possible.

Yes sir they are. I've seen a few up front and they even have a dial so you can control the drops. I will be purchasing one.

My advice is don't tip it. Keep it parallel or you will learn my fate. Trust me.
Hippo I picked up from someone locally from our club that had outgrown 75. Three years in a healthy tank from trusted reefer so I did not QT him. He decided to jump right in cave with Kole Tang so I added rock/shelter for him to have his own place of refuge.

My hippo's took a liking to Zoa's once they hit 4"
Can you explain?
It places little half circles in the acrylic so it's important to keep the pads parallel to the surface. You don't want a $1200 repair bill for fixing the scratches.

Great job sir. Well done.
Thanks. Next project of buffing scares me but I'll get it done. Worse comes to worse, I've got a $1200 repair for acrylic, right?:headwalls:
Dustin, why were you worried about the bottom seams? I don't remember reading anything in this thread about there being damage to them. Isn't this a brand new tank (never seen water)?
You could always practice on the bottom of the tank to remove scratches before you try to do the sides. There is an option.
