We organized our first January meeting for our club at a 27k gallon fish tank yesterday and realized quickly how small my system was. This was FOWLR but still really cool to see!

Dustin what made you choose them? Did you consider the Mitras? I ended up wth 5 Mitras over my 120 x 36 x 32 and the Profilux 3 touch...though the lights are not up yet, I am still trying to fabricate a rail system so I can slide the lights to the side when I need to access the tank...this is probably something you could do in a few minutes, lol...
I wish I was capable of doing all the wiring and and extraordinary work you are showing in this build, I admire your knowledge and capabilities...

Thanks everyone! Not sure how everyone is putting up with the slowness here but my updates are going to stop until the site gets back to normal. Hang in there RC, being the biggest SW forum is hard sometimes and people expect technology to be fixed overnight! 
As far as recent posts, Wayne is right about me using the Orphek Atlantiks for lighting. Great lights and not many other lights that compare in the large fish tank arena. I plan on starting with 5 and if I have to go with 6 I will.
@dmcrete, I've got a steal for you....$1 Million! Seriously though the wife does not mind. She's been pushy lately since the baby is due 3 months from today so she's wanted me to focus on getting nursery done and some other projects. Just got measurements for carpet yesterday and next time wife/I can get to Lowes is Saturday so hopefully late this month carpet is installed! I told her tank first but the basement keeps stealing my money!
Once things speed up around here, hopefully I have some really good updates for everyone!

Hey just following up to see if everything is going ok with you and the family plus the build. 3 months and counting, wow that was quick. We will be here waiting for you and cant wait to see pics of the nursery. Be good.

Woohoo, when did RC get fast again?!?!?
I've been pre-occupied with other priorities and this build really needs to be done already, right?! My wife is happy as carpet is being installed in basement Thursday, finished painting nursery this week, and just ordered the nursery furniture. Great things, just bad for the tank build
