A shiny new ID thread

I've kept an eye open and haven't come across what exactly this might be. If closed polyps would help, I can poke it and take another picture. It no longer closes on its own accord. Ignore the hair, it is quickly on its way out.

Normally I'd feel bad for asking about something that I could probably ID with enough time, but I actually kind of enjoy ID threads (except in the zoanthid forum, where it's less "what is this?" and more "what silly name did everyone last give something that kind of looks like this")
