So I've had a pair of ORA extreme mis-bar occies for a little over 10 years.
They just recently spawned. The eggs were bright orange the first day and the 2nd day they were black. I thought they were dead but after about 3-4 days I could see the silver of their eyes and they'd hatch out day 7 or 8.
Curious what to think about it?

I think it is heresy around here to post something that isn't a sale!

Good luck Bob! I got nuthin for ya on this though!

My clownfish would breed every month or so. You need to remove the fry and feed them rotifers once they hatch if you'd like them to survive. I just let mine feed the other fish/coral. :)

Best of luck.

It Took 10 years to lay thier first clutch!!! Wow! My first pair Took 4 years. Your eggs coloration, and hatching days are normal!! They hatching in 7 days if its like 81 +degrees

That egg development sounds totally normal. Though I have to say, my pair was kicking off litters after just a year and for the last 6-8 months have been putting out litters once a payperiod or so :)

One of these days I'll start a phyto and rotifer culture but of course my pair has to have their nest in the most inaccessible spot in the tank.

Move along, nothing for sale here.
The clowns are from ORA before they came up with Picasso, gene altering was still newer. I think the babies would be black but one of the things we'll never know.
