A trio of Flame Wrasse?

Hi guys.
Anyone got experience of keeping a trio of Flame Wrasse together?
I'm hoping to add three females but nor sure how to go about doing this, since only one or two wrasse come in per shipment and the males don't ship well o want three females, but how do I go about adding them?

Can I get one, qt it, add to dt, get another, qt, dt, and then third one qt and dt?
I understand from snorvich they have to be different sizes but unsure of timescale for adding them (or acquiring more females, only 1 available right now)

Regardless of how you do it, you're upwards of 90% likely to end up with multiple males.\

You're better off to stick with one, and if you want to see them flash, add males of different Cirrhilabrus species.

Same situation as the flame trio - the female flashers would likely end up male as well. Just like with fairy wrasses, males from different Paracheilinus sp. would be better.

As far as QT, I use 2 rounds of Prazipro followed by TTM and observation (not just for wrasses, but all new acquisitions). Total QT time is ~6 weeks assuming no additional pathogens show up.

And to go a step further with Paracheilinus, finding true females for sale and a correctly identified species is a very tall order.

Very true. Not so local fish store has two female flashers at $20 each but hard to ID what they are due to very small size and pretty much universally dull red coloration. LOL.

Might just up my chalk bass to 5, not tracked any down yet though.... never mind 5!
