Looking at some sump critters for sale. Was wondering about haliotis sp. abalone.
Note says 1.025 salinity mandatory...first time I've ever seen a critter that specific, but that's norm for my tank.
What do they eat and how do they behave? Do they tackle macro algaes?
Many abalone species, even the ones in the pet trade, are cold water animals that don't do well in tropical temps, research the specific species before you purchase it.
