ABC Reefs Fall Frag Swap

Captn_Cully. He is actually a great guy who has done a lot to help here in CNY with the hobby. He's just easy to pick on and knows how to give it back. He'll pop up soon enough I'm sure. Especially if his ears are ringing.

I don't know if Mark and his "designer" corals will be there(always a total rip off). But it has been confirmed that it is Jason Fox that will be there. If you have any questions of things you want off of his site you can email him.

Lol....I was referring to J. Fox ;).

Unless you got it confused and Michael J. will be attending...in THAT case I'm THERE!!!

oh im still going and will look at what this guys bringing, and everyone is into what they are into in this hobby, some people like to the "rare" pieces, but IMO its the high price drivers like these that make the hobby less enjoyable

agree that the names drive the prices sky high and for no real reason . im gonna have to start coming up with names for ALL my corals . really some of them are just awesome and deserve a few extra bucks but there has to be a limit IMO . gonna start getting creative in the names from now on !

I was just checking out his site and he really has some awesome stuff but geez $200 for a two inch frag?! I'm sorry but that's just outrageous... But I deff am going to at least look at what he brings to the swap.

yea i agree with both of ya, maybe hell think im cool and cut me a break,......

ehh i doubt it

and justin, the trip out this this swap would definitely be worth the time and gas there! ive been to many others and this seems to be the busiest one out there with awesome people and great food!

I just checked out the guy's site and it actually surprises me a little that the ABC guys would want a commercial vendor selling stuff out of their storefront at what is billed as a hobby frag swap. I hope they get a cut.

maybe I should just leave that as a great testimony for my frags, HOWEVER... to be fair and honest...

over the years I've gotten frags (both fresh cut unmounted AND healed mounted) that failed to survive.

Simply put... not every frag survives.

But the track record of wild caught SPS colonies (which are expensive!) is worse.

Didn't mean to debate or derail this thread but now it's got my attention.
I was at ABC / Geddes once... I think it was the grand opening or first anniversary. Anybody remember which... What anniversary is this for them?

Anyone bringing any higher end polyps? I have a few for possible trade if anyone is interested. Shoot me a pm. Thanks!!
