I'll post this here in the reef fishes forum because it is currently in one. We'll see how long that lasts. Anyways, thought I'd share a few shots of this guy, because I've never seen one like it. Enjoy!

beautiful fish. is it reef safe btw?

Well, that's debatable. I put it in my sps reef for a day. It seemed to like picking at all the "fluffy" acros and took a special liking to a colony of A. robusta. My other "catch all" reef has smaller polyped montiporas, anemones and softies like sarcophytum, sinularia, xenia and palythoas. So far so good unless you're an aiptasia.

I think you'll find eventually he'll be pretty non-everything safe over time :)

Probably right. I've got a tank with just live rock as well. So if it comes to it, he'll go in there. It just looks so right in a reef setting though.

I did not. I got it at my local Petco of all places.

Nice grab, I remember seeing a misbar on P.I.A. site back in May. It caught my eye because I haven't seen one before or since. Almost grabbed it, but didn't, wonder how it would've developed...

Oh wow! That one is sweet! I really love even the normal pattern on these fish. One of my favorite butterflies.
