okay stupid question coming up"¦ wait for it"¦.. okay concerning acans and their placement.. could u place different colonies together say from the same types for example two different colonies of acanthastrea bowerbanki together.. and also can different types can be placed about half an inch apart? are they aggressive.. never seen any physical aggression( stingers) so chemical aggression is more of their thing?

cheers:dance:

I have 3 different lord acans all next to each other and no aggression at all. At my LFS they have bowerbankis next to lords and echinatas and are doing fine. So I'm pretty sure it'll be alright but wait for someone with more experience give their advice on this.

I've seen people keep them together. However they do have a potent sting and I've heard of them killing some "aggressive" corals.

you should be good. i have 4 different types here:

wow thats nice to know.. right now its has crossed my mind to buy the really frags of colorful morphs and grow them like a flower bed on a rock. nice pic btw

Thanks. The green and brown ones have grown so much they're actually part of that rock now. I'm hoping over time the others do the same and start to grow up the rocks behind them.
