Acclimation of Clams

Could someone please post a quick how to.... for Clam Acclimation.... (for all species) Looking for proper steps and a time for acclimation,( the ride from the store to home, then the trip from the bag to the tank) anything to look out for, where to place clams depending on color and size?

temp-1/2hour in bag in ur tank, then slow drip(1 hour) for SG . Light ? What do you have and what did it come from?.BTY 2 week QT is the best.
