Accro Acclimatation under 150w MH?

Question: I just bought my first SPSs Accro+Bird Nest (well, I lost a few in my past tank under same lights:150w14k+2x65PC, but probably not for lighting reasons), should I acclimate these guys by reducing MH time for 2-3 days (4 hours long up to back to normal 8hrs)?
Should I also worry about the shadow at the base of the coral?
At the LFS it was under LED for 3-4 days and before that at the trader is unknown...
Also my MP40 will blow right on the accro, less on the BirdNest.

I like to start mine low in the tank and use some window screen to shade them a bit. About a week later I take off the screen and take another week to pick their final spot.

150watt XM20k HQI over a 24 gallon

Good. Starting at the bottom is the best acclimatation method but I'm always not sure with a light demanding accro and a low power light so...
