Achilles Tang Primer

I had a 3" AT in QT for 30 days with cupperamine for a couple of weeks. He was in there with a vampire tang as well. They both ate Reef frenzy on the second day and fed heavily on nori in less than a week.
After QT for 30 days and no sign of dieses I moved them to my DT. The vampire is still looking great 2 weeks later but I lost the AT 3 days after he was put in? Any thoughts to why?

Damn, that sucks. I guess it could be a number of things but copper is harsh on fish.

Hi All

I am back in this forum after 5 years, I last bought an 3 inch Achilies in 2010 Sept and had it for 9 months, after that I didn't buy any achilies. Now I paid deposit in a store in Toronto for 3 inch achilies which is eating at the store. Going to pick it up this weekend.

I know it's not 100% achilles but I just had to share. Ive had him for 2 weeks now. It's hard to take a pic because he is so active and already eats out of my hand.

This is an achilles goldrim hybrid tang. Nice fish!

Here is a pic of mine, still alive and kickin. Eats everything including out of my fingers. Key is flow and open swim space

I lost my Achilles due to being in a small holding tank while new replacement larger aquarium was cycling. I now only have a small 3.5" Achilles hybrid. He's doing great in the new tank.
