 and no steroids needed :D

Got the new tank today, that thing is perfect. It came crated as I have never seen befor. Sturdy 3/4" ply box all screwed so easy to open and thick 4" pads of foam inside.
Those who know me, know that I am usually specific. In this case I provided 5 pages of drawings and dimesnions all of which were matched to perfection, I could not find a measurement that was off by more than 1/32"
All welds are perfect without a single bubble, the view corners were manually polished to museum grade so the joint is practically invisible. Not to say that I could not fined a single scratch anywhere.

Congrats!!!

I'll be there on 7/7! If you decide on sooner, just call me.

BTW: I saw those "frags" of yours at Rod's. Man, oh, man.

15 buckets and boxes of frags and colonies and I still kept some to start over and them some.

God if I have updates...

Last Thursday with the help of Hansfrans, chisel out remining corals and transfer to frag tank including the clams.

Friday with the help of Joel all the 330 pounds of rock and 360 pounds of sand were emptied, sand in garbage bags (I will replace it all) and rock in a large tub that used to be Mike's sump.

Saturday a buch showed up (Thanks all!) to help make the switch.
I was still in the middle of disconnecting piping and electrical systems that will had to be relocated to make room for the three way automatic valve for the wave device. Gosh what a work.
With muscle and a couple of beers new tank was set up on the stand and old tank crated and carried away to a better life.

Sunday I spent relocating all the electrical and installing the supports and piping for the switching valve and return lines.

Today I was supposed to finish the piping and start filling but my son got on the way and had to take him to the city and help him install his new aircon and I'm just back so I will try to do something for a couple of hours before going to sleep.

I'll keep you posted.

Well just finished piping the return and the drain. Tomorrow test for leaks and see how it goes.
I am a bit disapointed on the Hayward three way switching valve, it turned out to be a bit noisy while switching.

Hey, you knew that testing it dry!!! YOu can always remove the tank, and re-do the piping :)
