A variable speed polish/ grinder and a quality wool pad, Rubbing compound, and some elbow grease will get the job done. I just recently did it on my TARNISHED 40 gallon, Blurred beyond belief with a scotch bright pad. After an hour of work ( interior of the tank) it looks almost brand new. Of course the huge LV gouges were still apparent but its good enough for an hour of my time. Dont set teh RPM's too high or youll melt the plastic
