Adding anthias?

Hi all. I have a 120 mixed reef that I rebuilt last summer. Heres where Im at:

I have: Tanakas wrasse, Black barred circus goby, Barnacle blenny, Yellow assessor, Red firefish, Linespot flasher, yellowfin flasher, lubbocks fairy.

All is going very well. I am thinking I might give away my yellowfin if I need to make room. Lubbocks could go if I get the pink margin and need more space. He is kind of feisty.

I have planned additions of these fish but any of them could be changed if needed:

Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse or orange back fairy
Orchid dotty or royal Gramma( leaning to Gramma)
Green Clown Goby
Rainford Goby (or hector)
Randalls Goby
Hi Fin Red Banded Goby
Tailspot Blenny

I am wondering about adding anthias and would like some advice. I thought of a single sunburst but I would like some opinions as to other species, numbers etc. I wish to keep a peaceful tank. I looked at my friends Lyretail pair today and man are they nice. Would a single, pair or trio of lyretails or another species be compatable and peaceful to others in this stocking plan?

Thanks for the help.

Lyretails will be slightly more aggressive than the flasher and fairy wrasses, though a trio or more will be fine as they should keep to themselves. There are other readily available species of anthias that are more peaceful, such as dispars, ignitus, randall's and parvirostris that would probably be more the "speed" of your current and proposed inhabitants.

I would not add a dotty for sure and recall Rainsford's are very tricky. Also your total # is getting up there.

Re Anthias I have a lyretail and Resplendant. Both lovely but the Resplendant is exceptional.

Hi Goldeneye -- There are others here much more knowledgeable than I about how aggressive each specie is. But as a single experience my resplendant never chases anything and it is just gorgeous.

So, suggestions thus far are: dispars, ignitus, randall's ,parvirostris and resplendent. How about Carberryi? Other suggestions? Are there any differences in these fish with regard to difficulty, hardiness etc? Which of these is better looking in person?

Opinions on whether one sunburst or a trio of one of these would be a better choice?

Thanks for all the help !

Carberryi would work as well, the aforementioned species are just some of the commonly available peaceful social anthias available, but by no means a complete list.

Sunburst anthias are peaceful, but are more solitary, so they wont interact as much as the other species.

TJ thanks for your continued help. I very much appreciate the effort you make to help out.

Now if I could only see more of these in person.....

Not 'in person' but here are some resplendents I currently have in QT ....

A smaller, more peaceful species than Lyretails. Latter are from the Franzia pseudoanthias sub genus and notable for being aggressive. I don't keep them anymore.
