Adult Emperor Angelfish losing color.

Someone please help, if you have experienced this please guide me on
how to restore my Angels color "mostly the black". I feed all types of food
including krill, plankton, mysis, brine, squid, nori, flakes and new spectrum pellets. He eats everything I feed it. Scything seems fine but his color! Please help!

What are your water parameters? Mine would have color fade if water quality was going south. He was always an indicator of something fouling the water .

I second water quality. Mine would get a blotchy look when water wasn't right.

Very finicky with water quality like previously said. Time for a water change! Do you have a UV sterilizer?

I also had better results with a UV. I recommend the emperor aquatics uv sterilizer as it is the best i have found for myself and trust me i have tired them all!
