Advice one LTA

So i bought an LTA yesterday. And I was wondering how long B4 they dig they're foot into the sand? My LTA havent dug its foot in the sand yet. I dug a hole and put its foot there but it'll retract its foot. Any advise will be helpful.

I am not an expert on these LTAs but I haven't had any trouble with mine yet and I've had mine since october. Few questions.. How deep is your sand? Is it a fine grade sand? You could try turning your power heads off and see if that will help get it to settle in. Help it burry its foot by putting sand around its foot in the hole that you picked out for it. Try to pick a spot where there is very little water movement even with the powerheads on. Mine seems to like its spot where there is almost no water movement, so I guess thats what other LTAs prefer too. Hope this helps...good luck.

My sand is about 2" But the place where my LTA is currently placed i added some more sand so its like 3-4" deep. I tried to help bury it but it doesnt really want to stay still. It eats well but its not burying itself so it must be recovering. Guess it's gonna take some time.
