AEFW and sps other than acros

I have various sps in my tank that survived a crash that was due to a ato and calrx issue(alk spiked and then fell off). I lost all my acro frags except one, I since added two aro frags. Everything other than my acros have shown growth, good color, good pe etc, but the acros seem to be loosing color, poor pe and I might be losing one right now.

I am wondering if I do have aefw and I just remove the acros, will they eventually die off, do they eat other sps besides acros?

They will eat all corals from the acropora family. They are not known to eat any other SPS.

As acros are harder to keep than most other SPS, are you sure its AEFW that are causing you issues? Can you see bite marks? HAve you dipped them?

I have not seen them, but I got my frags from a tank that has them.

If the tank does not have any acros will all the aefw die off?

Yes they have to eat acropora to survive. They are easy to see if you know what to look for. A turkey baster will blow them off a coral.
