What about a freshwater dip? These smaller animals may not be able to take the rapid change but the acro most likley will be able to. I think that a few minutes would be enough. HTH, Tim

I was reading more and people have had sucess with a dip in room temperature ro/di. I think that if it is infested that a minute in fresh water would cause all the bugs to bail and may even cause the egss to explode leaving the coral unharmed. Just my $.02.

FW Dips will be too stressful in my opinion.....
FYI for everyone on the TMPCC.....I contacted Tropic Marin to see exactly what it contained, and here are their responses:

Several different substances are containing iodine. PRO-CORAL CURE is one that is efficient against parasites and relatively mild to corals.

So if it hasn't been heard before....there's the proof. TMPCC is simply an Iodine solution.

Fluke tabs are working for me. Over two weeks into quarentine and not one AEFW visible since first dip. All colors retained and NO further damage to the corals. Dosage 4 tabs/5 gallon water(8x dosage on package) for 20 minutes. Look to Melevs thread on aefw for more pics and results. By far the BEST treatment out there. Im convinced and thats that. Hopefully you will give it a try if you run into them!
