do you guys use flash when you take all these awesome pics? and do you move them closer to the front glass in order to take such cool macros?

I switch the camera to Macro, and often times press the lens against the glass to keep it steady. No flash, I've got plenty of light coming down from the MHs. :D

Here's one from last night:

Yes, mine are near the front on the sand. My tanks are only 12" from front to back, so most items are close enough for great macro shots.

You can target feed them with pellet food, and they will grow more quickly. If you just get one and it does well, in a few months you'll have a few. :D

What kind of pellet food ?
Thanks Ron

Well have not spent a lot of time in this thread lately but heres a few new pics to help keep this great thread rolling. It helps that my ric pics are finally getting a bit better. Most of these are recent acquistions for sale, trade and propagation.

Heres a very cool Yuma rock I found locally. Dark green with green and peach mouth (not much peach showing). Very nice colony and the largest Yuma I have ever seen. Sitting in a dead flow shop tank that middle polyp was half the size of my hand and probably 4" tall. The mother of the other 14 polyps I suppose. Hard to see in pic from shape of rock but 12 polyps and 3 came off already and are in the polyp garden.

Millisec, very, very nice. In your post "Heres a few in the garden..." what are the green squiggly things? very pretty!

Also, is that a large conch in your tank? or just the shell?

No, I do not feed mushrooms. Trust me, they will spread fast enough on their own. Ask me how I get rid of them.
