AI Hydra Settings Thread

I cant access the director until i get my new modem today. but the weird part was that it went to some setting at some point that i didnt even have. i understand the clock thing but going to a different setting was weird.

I ACTUALLY didnt try that id have to do that when i get home from work, that would only work through the computer its hooked up too right?

hmmm, now it gets interesting. I have two routers and never tried connecting to the director while it was connected to a PC except on day one when i connected via MAC address, (theres another option) but sadly there is no place for the Director to have a static IP set, (hint hint for update). so if the switch part of the router still works you should be able to get an ip and connect to it.

I have the Director's lunar set up from 10pm to 5am. I noticed that the lunar light is still on after the defaulted time. Did I missed something on the setting? Thx.

depending on your sunrise and time zone setting you should be seeing almost 2 hrs of lights out. if not, make sure you are set to YOUR timezone.

Just thought I would update my settings - Any feedback is welcome.

I am seeing great growth on most sps - thinking I should lower the green and red again. I have have been reading some articals on the effects of red and UV and how the work with each other creating colours and growth.

I am dealing again with some cyano on the sand - mostly due to changing from vinegar dosing to bio-pellets.

I have my sunrise and sunset fr 11pm thru 9am and lunar fr 10pm thru 5am. The time zone setting at Pacific and Canada. The tank will have no light for around 6 hrs, but it did not. Any advice how to setting it correctly? Thx.

Could you post your current settings and the distance AWL? I assume you have 3 lights?

Can you click on Weather and click location timers to let the director pull the sunrise sunset times? then make sure the time zone box under that is set to 0

Those are my current settings  @12 noon sunny day.

my lights are 14 inches from the water.
mea culpa

I didn't see the pics of the settings the first time I looked at your post.

Do you have your UV at 80? Or, am I mistaking UV for V?

I control with Apex and the color I see in Apex for UV seems to match the 80% in your settings.

Glad I can help - 80% is violet
