AI Hydra Settings Thread

Yeah.... I'm just frustrated with it.... Friday I came home and the lights were all at like 20%, and when I logged on to the director! it said it was January 4th of 2011. So today wheni came home, the director was off...I did not even have a power outage or anything. So I unplugged it, and re plugged in... And it said it was 8am on February 2nd of 1998.

I never had these issues with the normal controller... The first gen was just a pos because of power supply and touchy touch buttons.... How're, I never had this issue

I agree, the other day one of my lights were dimmer then the others and when I rebooted the. Director I couldn't connect to it. Of course I was already late for work and started panicking since after the reboot they went to 100% at 7am. I left them that way and left pretty upset. About 6 minutes later it synced up and I was able to connect and the lights resumed normal operation. At that moment in time I probably would have swapped it myself. I wish AI would release another patch already.

Going to give the Neptune Apex AWM a try just got it. I now have the all three controllers will see which one I like best and go that way

you got to go with one of the controllers I learn so much almost got my PH to were it does not move at night. there is so much it will tell you.

You have 2 Hydra's on a 36" tank and you think you have dead spots?
wow maybe I should add a third light to my 48" tank. LOL
only problem is the center brace

Lol, I lost my job as I was making purchases so lights suffered. I figured I would use the dark area as my acclimation zone. So far so good but my frags are getting crowded..

Im at 10" AWL, and their kinda mounted as a "V" over the tank to follow the rock work.

I think with three i could mount them front to back.
