Sooooo got a new light and same issue. Much be my controller. Especially since now it's not turning on at all. Lights are now stuck on. What can I do??

So it's been a few weeks and I've been adjusting trying to clear up the brown sand bed which came when I installed the 52s. No3 and Phos or extremely low (no change to what it was before). I've been. Following this thread and posted early on. After seeing what others have, I am going to drop R&G down and lower my whites. Here is what I just set mine to:
W-30% for 7 hours with 1.5 ramp up/dn on each side
R-11am-9pm ramping up to 8% at 4pm and back down
G- same as Red
RB- 70% from 11am-6:30pm with 2 hour ramp on each side
DB - Same as RB
V- 40% from 11am-6pm with 2 hour ramp on both sides
UV-20% from 1-7pm with 2 hour ramp on each side.
I will monitor the sand bed and corals. Corals appear good now, but perhaps they'll get even better growth.

Sounds like you might have added the lights to a different group.

No just searched em. 2 hydras found and set up. Again deep blues didn't work then the controller took dump and won't turn on at all now

Do you have it connected using the USB cable it came with and to something supplying enough power?

Yup. Even tried a different USB. Plug and went straight to the laptop. No power at all whatsoever

Never had a problem before. It's the controller for sure. No power in any way plug or anything

Wow that is weird, this might be redundant - did you push the little red button till the light turned green on all the lights?
Also I think if you push it too long it goes into demo mode.
I hope u have better luck with the director, just fyi insure the director and lights are on the same floor

I had to use a different USB cable as mine wouldn't stay powered up. I had one for a camera I had and used it and it powered it up. Did you try a different USB cable?
