When I updated mine onne of the two did the same thing I pulled the power (reset) to the light for a min. then it came back and has been working great.

I cranked my whites up to about 30 and cranked blues to 92. So far so good. Lots of shadowing with hydras I'm finding out

Like some other people here, my corals seems to don't like the white leds! I had everything to around 55% and my Green Slimmer had no polyps extension at all for 3 days.

I just dialled down the whites to 20% and ramp up everything else to 70% and BOOM, the polyps of my Green Slimmer just opened up after less than 10 minutes! :thumbsup:

I was trying to get a more 14 000k look, that's why my whites were higher but it looks that my coral prefers a 20 000k look!

Yes, depending on where the coral naturally grows it may prefer a bluer look. Shallow corals prefer white I guess.

I found the same thing with the whites, so does that mean that the color spectrum is off on the white LED's? I have had great success with VHO and MH 10K lighting which is a white look to my eye, so why don't the corals like white LED's?

So you don't think it has to do with color?

I am not a lighting expert but it's my understanding that mh sends light in all directions which is why a reflector is needed and the reflector diffuses a little of the light. There is also a coating on the bulb which helps block UV. LED on the other hand is directly aiming at the corals and the lens acts as a diffuser but only to break up the beams and avoid a disco effect. There are also dedicated UV LEDs.
I have found the its easier to move a coral up or down or even into a back corner to acclimate it instead of turning the entire fixture down.

Can i get some feed back on what % people have Red and Green at.

I feel like my tank glass develops more algae when either is higher that 15%.
