Hey mate, yes I run the lights through my Apex, makes it so easy! It has presets for 10k up to 20k I think. The preset for 14k is in the pic for you, if you want to know any others just let me know

2.0.43-r0 is what mine has currently, and I'd think it would automatically notify if there was a new release out.
Well, as of yesterday, I'm a new member of the Hydra 52 club. I have two Hydra 52s about 9" above my 90g, by way of Vega Color upgrades - I was one of the first Vega owners (OP of the Vega owners thread on here) and though I was very happy with them, had always wanted more light and so far the Hydra 52s seem to be fitting the bill!
Not very scientific at all as I don't have a PAR meter and I'm more of a photography type - I took an FTS with a Vega Color and Hydra 52 side-by-side atop my tank with all LEDs at 100%, and the Hydra 52 side was a full 3 f-stops brighter than the Vega Color side.
Now I'm off to acclimate slowly over the next 2.5 months! My target color profile is:
UV: 30
Violet: 100
Deep Blue: 100
Royal Blue: 100
Green: 75
Red: 70
Cool White: 50

No worries, the colour presets for 20k are as follows:-
Red - 37%
Green - 17%
Blue - 100%
Royal Blue - 100%
Deep Blue - 100%
Violet - 100%
UV - 100%
Cool White - 37%
Warm White - 37%
Neutral White - 37%
Anything else you need to know just ask. Let me know how it looks!
Thanks, Ken! Now that's interesting - the Hydras don't have all those whites - I wonder how that translates.
Sorry if this has been asked, but can someone explain the comparison of asthetics vs coral growth in relation to the different color temps (20k, 14k, etc.) ?
Example:
Do corals do better at 14k but we use 20k because we like how it looks?

Yeah I'm not sure why they're on the Apex interface, when I adjust blue, warm white and neutral white nothing happens so don't worry, you're not missing anything!!

Red - 100%
Green - 100%
Blue - 75%
Royal Blue - 75%
Deep Blue - 75%
Violet - 75%
UV - 75%
Cool White - 100%
Warm White - 100%
Neutral White - 100%

No you wouldn't. At least not going by the Apex presets anyway.
