AI Sol blue died - replacement options?

As the title says - one of my 5 year old AI Sol Blues crapped out on me today. The white channel fades in and out, nothing from either blue or royal blue. The other Sol hooked up to the same controller is fine (for now?)

So what are my replacement options? The tank is a standard 120 mostly SPS. I wouldn't be opposed to getting a Hydra 52HD (or a pair) but at $599ea from BRS that was something I really hadn't budgeted for! I suppose I could get just one for now and another in a month or two.

What would you do, and why?

I intend to stay 100% LED, but otherwise, all suggestions are welcome!!

Thanks for your help!

This is just a wild stab as I'm still pretty green in this hobby. Only have a 20 long with two kessil a80s coming on Saturday.

BUT... from my understanding the kessil Ap700 is a good set up. But that's just what I've heard please don't think I'm crazy.

Find another used SOL Blue and just replace it to buy you some time? Then, find your dream lights and save up for them.

Here’s what I did when my original Hydras burnt a few leds. I contacted AI about replacement parts, they no longer carried them. They gave me $100/per light that I sent them towards new hydra hd 26s.

I had two over my tank, explained I couldn’t send both back and leave my tank dark. They agreed. I sent them one light, when they got it I then purchased both new lights(at discounted) upfront. They sent the new lights plus a shipping label to get my other light back.

If they don’t receive the old lights back in 30days they will charge you that discount.

Great advice!
