Hi,

I am setting up my fish room for my 345 gallon in wall. I have this air exchanger in the box in the garage

or should I just put an exhaust fan above the tank?

The fish room is on an exterior wall so either option will be vented outside. Your input is appreciated. Thanks!

I would put them both in.
I'm sure that in your climate there are times when you may need the exhaust fan to kick on to control the temp.

I saw couple automatic vents at Home D///.. They had a sensor triggered motor and ran on solar power w/battery backup. Cost was about $350. Im thinking about getting one installed. But for your size tank I would use both as recommended by Jonrauh.
