Algae ID?

I have some sheet or plate algae giving me problems in one of my tanks. Encrusts in the overflow to my sumo, and just about any other place it gets ahold...

That pic is of some of what I scraped out of my overflow AGAIN yesterday. Yes, it also has a bit of valonia on it too, but the plate stuff is the major problem for me. Gets to where it restricts the water flow quite a bit...

I guess I've figured out what it is...wafer algae . Oh yippee!

Lobophora and Ralfsia are what is usually called brown wafer algae. Try also looking up Padina, which is less 'weedy.' Diadema urchins will eat this algae. Do you test your water? If so, what are the results of the tests.
