I think alot of people are getting the wrong idea of why I am selling the sps. I have had temperature problems that were unknown until I got a different form of temperature gauge and noticed that the tank was getting a 5-6 degree temp swing. All my corals are not sick, I just don't have the time or money right now and would rather just switch over to what worked best for me in the begining, softies. I also could use the money right now.

When I am done with school I will eventually have tanks like Rogger, Manny, or Joe.

Thanks

i know being in college finnancially sucks big time, but im sure this hobby doesnt help much..... or my car.......or my new addiction to halo 3......or.......x(

yea...tuition...car...insurance...gas...food...and then somehow have money to spend on the fishtank! actually it's more like fishtank and then somehow spend money on all the other stuff! right?

matt why don't you just get a new temp controller or something so that your temp stabalizes? your tank is gorgeous! If i ffelt confidence keeping sps I would buy a bunch of it...but I don't want to buy it all and then have it die...frags...maybe but not whole colonies!

Wow what a day,

I talked to a few people today that convinced me into staying with the digitatas, milliporas, and montis and not give up.

So.... All the acroporas are still for sale and I will post pictures up tomorrow. Montipora cap is still for sale also.

Sorry if you were interested in the digitatas, milliporas, or montis but hopefully they do well after some changes I am going to do and will have frags at a later time. :)

Thanks

-Matthew

well i am glad your staying with it matt, im telling you monti's are really hardy but you might want to get that temp swing fixed. is it going to low or two high?

I had a few problems that I recently fixed;

--Temp would go from 82.8 in the heat of the day and go down to 77.2 at night. Yea I know that is huge. I had an older coralife temp. gauge that was not reading accurately.

--I forgot to take out the metal peice that tightened the tubing for the return line. Just remembered a few days ago and it was all rusted. I took it off along with doing a water change.

I had a few other minor problems that I also solved. I am still having a problem with acroporas so I am going to sell those off and keep what I keep best.

Thanks

wow, thats what being in a club is all about.

its great to see people pull together to help and encourage each other even at the cost of a great deal on stuff for themselves.

Hey Matt, whenever you decide you do want to jump back into acros again, let me know. I'll give you a frag of my (relatively) easy-to-keep green tenuis to try.
