Here is a pic of my tank, mixed reef but slowly becoming SPS dominant. Pic was from back in December, so it has grown along quite a bit since then.

How did your city water cause your reef tank to crash? I only use the saltwater, and specially distilled water i get from my "ifs" in my reef tank. That way I know what's going in my saltwater syster.

"New" city water has very high KH, also some algae started to grow. When the alge dissolved the resulting bacterial bloom killed most of the fish and i had to change large ammounts of water, the alk spike did the rest to the corals then.

Lesson learned: I bought a 400 gal per day reverse osmosis, so i can provide constant water quality in large amounts quickly.

Curious what your 4 t-5's are? I light my 180 with 3 250 W radiums and 4 t-5's (ATI 3 Coral + and 1 Actinic). Your colors are really popping. Nice thank.

Oh, and what is that beautiful red coral at the bottom center.

Thank you!
My reef is lit with 3xPhoenix 250w 14k & 4xT5's. (3x blue plus & coral plus) the red coral at the bottom is Red Planet.
